A week in Dubai seems very popular these days, having spent the last week of January over in the UAE, one gets the impression that half the UK is over there, and it really is the worlds largest building site.
Unlike many who seemed to be making the most of shopping month, I was working at a TV station commissioning some software for them.

The nighttime pictures where while walking bake to my hotel and taken with mobile phone, the others with Canon S3is. Getting pictures out of the plane window was difficult, avoiding the dirt on the window, vibration from plane and getting a sharp focus was fun. The snowy mountains were around the Iraq/Turkish border.
